    Where Are Downloads Saved?

    After you tap Download, the file goes to your device’s default downloads location. Paths differ by platform and browser.

    Android

    Most phones save files to the Downloads folder. Open the Files app and tap Downloads, or tap the notification from Chrome, Samsung Internet, or Firefox.

    iPhone & iPad (iOS)

    Safari and most mobile browsers save to the Files app. After download, tap the browser’s downloads icon and choose Save to Files or Open in… to pick a folder.

    Web Browser

    Desktop and mobile browsers use their built-in download manager. Press Ctrl+J (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+J (Mac) in Chrome/Edge/Firefox to see recent files and open the folder.

    Windows & Mac (PC)

    On Windows, files usually land in This PC → Downloads. On Mac, open Finder → Downloads. If you chose “Save as”, the file is wherever you saved it.
